General
Balans en Opvoeden was founded by Lisanne Stouthart, is based in Amstelveen and is registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 90673271. Balans en Opvoeden focuses on coaching and guiding parents of toddlers.
Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all oral and written offers and agreements from and with Balans en Opvoeden, both preparatory and executive in nature. In connection with privacy legislation, a simple agreement is drawn up before a coaching trajectory starts. By signing the agreement, these terms and conditions are also accepted.
Consent for guidance
For children under the age of 16, both parents with parental authority must agree to the coaching, where applicable. The commissioning parent with parental authority ensures that any other parent with parental authority is informed about the guidance. He/she thereby agrees that, if the other parent objects to the coaching in any way, he/she accepts the consequences. Balans en Opvoeden cannot be held responsible for this.
Rules around appointments for children
The parent/caregiver must be reachable by phone during the coaching session. After each session there is a short handover, during which the child can tell or show what they have done or made. During an interim and/or final conversation, the child's progress is discussed thoroughly and honestly and a report follows by email. Where applicable, a referral may also be made for further assessment or another type of support.
Confidentiality
Balans en Opvoeden commits to confidentiality regarding everything discussed during coaching or in that context. For consultation with third parties in the interest of the child, permission is always requested first from the parent/caregiver. Balans en Opvoeden is obliged to follow the reporting code for child abuse and the reporting code for domestic violence.
Cancellation
If cancellation takes place at least 24 hours before the appointment, the session does not lapse and will be rescheduled in consultation. If cancellation takes place less than 24 hours in advance, or in case of a no-show, the session lapses. Exceptions may be discussed. Timely rescheduling is of course possible by phone or email. During child coaching sessions, the phone is not answered; parents can of course leave a voicemail.
Rates
The rate for a coaching trajectory at Balans en Opvoeden includes VAT. Rate changes are announced at least one month in advance. Short consultation by phone or email is included in the guidance. If more time is needed (longer than fifteen minutes), a separate appointment will be made in consultation based on the hourly rate of € 125.
Payment terms
Balans en Opvoeden works with trajectories that are invoiced in advance. The total amount must be paid within 14 days to account number NL23KNAB0508267269 in the name of Balans en Opvoeden, stating the invoice number. Payment in instalments is possible and can be requested when registering. If payment is not made within the agreed period, the coaching cannot start or continue.
Liability
Guidance by Balans en Opvoeden is solution-oriented, without being able to guarantee the solution or result. This depends on the efforts of parents and/or child, and this process will continue after completion of a trajectory. Balans en Opvoeden is never liable for direct or indirect damage or injury arising from, or related to, the services provided, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of Balans en Opvoeden. Compensation to the child and/or parents can never exceed the covered compensation according to the liability insurance of Balans en Opvoeden.

Nothing from the trajectories or online programmes may be copied without explicit permission and remains the property of Balans en Opvoeden.
Complaints procedure
Balans en Opvoeden makes every effort to guide every child and the parents as well as possible. However, it may happen that parents/caregivers are not satisfied. If this is the case, this can be communicated with Lisanne Stouthart, after which a solution will be sought together.
